Tree Identification Workshop - August 27th, 2015 at 7 pm

On Thursday, August 27th, your society is providing an opportunity for you to polish your tree identification skills. There are still many in our community who have difficulty identifying an American Elm with certainty. Having this skill is a more urgent need, now that we have experienced our first case of Dutch Elm Disease in Saskatoon.

The format is a one hour walk-about tour of a Nutana neighbourhood with a variety of trees, our instructor to be Linda Moskalyk who has a background in urban forestry. We will meet outside D'Lish by Tish on the corner of 14th Street and Temperance Ave. Non-members of SOS Elms are also welcome.
